Vice-rector's award for excellent results in doctoral studies

The aim of this award, which is part of the so-called Strengthening of the appreciation of excellent study results of doctoral students (measure 3C), is to increase the number of doctoral students who complete their studies in the standard study period, possibly extended by one year, with excellent results processed in their dissertation.

Masaryk University employees and students are obliged to inform the university about their return from a foreign country if they intend to enter an MU building within 14 days of their arrival.

The Election of a New Dean

On 31st January 2022, the current Dean's term of office will expire. The Academic Senate of the Faculty of Science MU has announced the election of a new Dean.

Dean´s Awards

Last week, Dean Tomáš Kašparovský personally presented the Dean’s Awards for Best Students at the Faculty of Science of Masaryk University. This year, he presented the Dean’s Awards to a total of 12 laureates in the Best Student category in the Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs, and 14 promising researchers in the Best Student category in the Doctoral degree program. Congratulations to all the winners!

University city par excellence. Brno will again support Doctoral students

 ‘Project Brno Ph.D. Talent’, under the auspices of the South Moravian Centre for International Mobility (JCMM), will continue to provide financial support to Doctoral students. More than 9 million crowns, provided by the city of Brno, will be distributed among promising scientists studying technical and scientific postgraduate programs.
