- x-ray diffraction; x-ray optics; ray-tracing
The aim of the project is numerical and experimental characterization,
testing an application of new components for x-ray diffractive optics, like
extremely asymmetric difractors and difractive-refractive optics.
Theoretical analysis by dynamical x-ray diffraction and numerical simulation
by ray-tracing from source to detector are of main interest. Devices,
prepared by collaborating laboratories, will be tested at synchrotron
sources. The project is associated to the working group WG4 of COST project
P7 "X-ray and neutron optics".
