Safe biotechnology of allotransplated hematopoietic stem cells in selected solid and haematologic tumors as an adoptive immunotherapy
The project focuses on the adoptive immunotherapy using experimental allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. It primarily concentrates on finding a safe biotechnology of allogeneic stem cell graft preparation to minimize its unwanted alloreactivity leading often to lethal graft-versus-host reaction, and at the same time to preserve and potentiate its anti-tumor reactivity. Experimental verification of this procedure could lead to a rapid progress in the clinical usage of allogeneic transplantation in oncology and other fields.
